One of my New Year’s resolutions is to learn to play the Brahms Intermezzo Opus 117 No 1. Here is Glenn Gould’s version:

  2. Gould got into trouble when he played Brahms. When he did the first concerto with Bernstein and the NY Phil, he was widely criticized (including by Lenny) for playing the thing too damn slow.
